Retired archivist and author, including two books of poetry, Mr. Crawford was the curator of approximately ten major exhibitions in the Special Collections gallery in Hale Library, and two Landon Lecture exhibitions in the lobby of McCain Auditorium at Kansas State University. He also cooperated with the Marianna Kistler Beach Museum of Art to acquire papers of several Kansas artists. While volunteering at MAC during the last six years, he has worked to improve the collections in the Faw Library and MAC's archives. Prior to moving to Manhattan in 1983, he assisted museum curators on several exhibitions at his previous positions in St. Louis and Lexington, VA.
We are proud to exhibit this personal collection of art acquired over a fifty year period by our dedicated Theatre Committee member and former “Volunteer of the Year” winner at MAC.
