Education in the Arts

The Manhattan Arts Center (MAC) offers art education to adults and children of all ages and incomes. Throughout the year there are a variety of art and clay classes for adults. We also have educational opportunities for children in theatre, art, ceramics, and music. In the summer, we offer our arts-based day camp "Camp MAC." We also have open studios for artists to work and learn together, including Watercolor Studio, Open Community Studios (various media) , Clay Studio, and coming soon: Metal-smithing Studio.

Nurturing Creative Abilities

Our motto is Arts For All. We believe that arts education enhances the lives of all who participate. With this in mind, we will continue to nurture the creative abilities of Manhattan's children, for they are the future artists, playwrights, actors, singers, and story tellers.
