In the Kirmser Gallery:
Sojourning in a Time of Uncertainty - the artwork of Chiyoko Myose
An exhibit that reminds us, "We are all sojourners on the earth. While we are still on the earth, we face difficulties. However, it is temporary. We are just sojourning in this time of uncertainty." The paintings and installation in this exhibition all have a common element of threads. Although the process and metaphors are different, all of the paintings in the exhibit express her search and longing for the sojourner's home.
Chiyoko Myose is originally from Japan, and now lives and works in Wichita, KS.

The drawings, paintings and installation in this exhibit merge both two and three-dimensional space and use the gallery as the canvas.
Molly Bernstein is a graduate of K-State and lives and works in Manhattan, KS.
All MAC gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.
Meet the artists at the opening reception on Friday July 10, 5-7pm.
(The opening reception date is tentative based on changing COVID-19 restrictions. We will update this page as we receive new information.)
