Environmental Adaptations: Future Perspectives
January 12 - February 23, 2019

The subject focus of Duane Noblett's work has been and continues to be a visual representation of human intervention in our world. The works featured in this exhibit reflect future demands upon human habitats resulting from environmental changes. These works on paper have depth added by layering sheets of Bristol paper together and then carving back into them and distressing them with a variety of tools. Color is introduced through the application of powdered mineral oxides and metal leaf.

Duane Noblett is an Emeritus Professor of Art at Kansas State University and holds graduate degrees in drawing from the University of Iowa. Noblett has exhibited nationally and has also presented solo and group shows throughout England and in Taiwan.
