Traditional Private Lessons are offered year-round. 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons are available. You may register throughout the year. Summer lessons are optional and available based on instructor availability. Piano lessons are appropriate for ages 3 through adult.
Piano classes focus on both technique for the individual as well as musicianship all while in a group environment. These classes take place in the piano lab in the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance.
Coaching sessions are designed for students who want to work with an instructor to accomplish a short-term goal, such as prepare for an audition or competition or to learn a role. Coaching sessions can be scheduled for one to six sessions by the MAC office or the instructor can schedule with the student individually to allow for maximum flexibility. The tuition and instructor compensation for coaching sessions are the same per lesson rate as the 15-lesson rate.
CSPA offers scholarships for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. Please contact us at 785-537-4420 for information when registering.
There is a $15 non-refundable registration fee for classes cancelled by the participant. No refunds will be issued after completion of certain sessions of the class (see class descriptions). If a class is cancelled by CSPA, a refund will be issued.
